..and historical staircases in an impressive building and a beach just across the road.
I visited this hotel just some days ago and spend some amazing time.
The facade is the most impressive on the croisette in Cannes. You cannot walk past it without turning your head.
Location couldn´t be any better. Sea front on the croisette.
I visited a classic room. Beds are comfortable but the decor is quite old and really needs to refreshen but the overall impression is of a cosy and classic hotel.
A small desk in the rooms makes business stops a bit easier.
Minibar and flat tv.
Bathroom are of the same style of the rooms. Very classic.
To bad for the shower curtain. Not my favorite thing in a hotel.
Amenities provided are good and cover the most of our basic needs.
LOBBY & COMMON AEREAS
Nice lobby. Two reception desks on each side and a very smily staff. Maybe some more furniture in the lobby would make it less cold.
Dj was playing cool music. People eating, meeting and enjoying the time there. Very different form the lobby with this blue electric lights.
Corridors are as the rooms. Very classic.
Ad now to the most impressive part of the hotel. THE STAIRCASES!!!! Where famous and non (like me) have posed for different shots.
I had dinner at the Carlton Restaurant that during summer offers an amazing terrace front sea.
O LA LA! i finally had a very good diner in Cannes….Fresh ingredients, nicely presented and combined tastes.
Quite many meeting romos and a Ballroom with a ceiling which is just stunning.
-Location can´t get any better.
-Amazing building and with beautiful staircases
-Cool lobby bar (in strong contrast with the rest of the hotel)
-Great hotel for meetings and events.
-Rooms a bit out of date.
Business friendly ★★★★★★★☆☆☆
Check in/front Desk service ★★★★★★★★☆☆
