..not a real 5 star hotel. Don´t get me wrong. The hotel has beautiful and amazing facilities and beautiful rooms but for my real luxury is service and this hotel has quite some issues with it.
This hotel is for a younger clientele with not so high demands for service.
If you are looking for service then this is NOT the hotel for you. One Direction was there those days and they partied hard just to let you know what kind of people you will find there. I did not sleep the first night for the vibration coming from the club on the last floor.
When you pay up to 2.000 € per night for this suite at least turn down service should be provided and access to a lounge area for private breakfast etc.
I stayed here for 3 nights last week in a very modern and elegant suite. Amazing wheather and the view over the city from my corner suite at the 23rd floor was amazing.
Located on the beach is is quite close to reach the center with a taxi which is cheap in Barcelona.
I will let the images speak for themselves. View is breathtaking. Some misses though such as no tea or milk in the room, no newspaper, no turn down service, no coat hangers at entrance etc….
You have the toilet separated with a thin glass door just some feet away from the bed…not the smartest solution. You also have a bathtub in the bedroom..

LOBBY & COMMON AEREAS
Long cues to check in. For me it took nearly 20 min….when staying in a suite you expect at least a private check in done in the room or on a club level.
Some rooms face the inside of the “square” so be careful when booking. You want a room with the view.
Simple and basic. But you have most of it. No chefs in sight…
2 small pools outdoor but you have the beach so…
-Location on the beach
-Be careful if you book the last floors because you hear the club which is on the last floor. I changed suite from floor 23 to 11 to get some sleep
-Staff is not up to a 5 star hotel. Confusing and misleading info is given on the hotels services like simple things such as when is breakfast served etc…The management needs to work on the staff…
-No turn-down service is provided neither in the suites…
-No tea or milk in the suites…
-No private check in if you book a suite..
– No club level…
